Special Session 7 HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN POROUS MEDIA (SS7)
This Special Session will cover developments in the field of basic and applied research work on the physical and chemical aspects of heat and mass transfer phenomena in a porous medium domain, as well as related material properties and their measurements. The program of the session includes both theoretical and experimental presentations.
Topics of the special session include:
General: theory, mathematical models and numerical methods
Single and double diffusive transfer
Experimental methods (Measurement and Instrumentation)
Multiphase flow
Packed beds and reactors
Porous burners, heat exchangers, fuel cells
New porous materials and applications
Industrial applications
Papers in other relevant areas not listed above related to heat or/and mass
transfer are also welcome
