Special Session 12
NANOTECHNOLOGY IN OIL AND GAS (SS12)
This Special Session will cover all aspects of Nanotechnology in oil and gas. Possible topics include Reservoir management (examination of areas such as nano- enhanced EOR, flow assurance, tracers) and Field development (examination of areas such as nano-enhanced drilling fluids, corrosion monitoring and prevention, alloys, and elastomers enhancement). May be presented Nanotechnology-Based Filtration includes Gas Separations, Heavy Metal Separation, and Oil-water Separation. Nanofluid activated by Electromagnetic Waves using in EOR can also be presented. Modeling and simulation of Reservoir and EOR is highly welcome.

Topics of the special session include:

  • Reservoir management (examination of areas such as nano- enhanced EOR, flow assurance, tracers).
  • Field development (examination of areas such as nano-enhanced drilling fluids, corrosion monitoring and prevention, alloys, and elastomers enhancement).
  • Nanotechnology-Based Filtration includes Gas Separations, Heavy Metal Separation, and Oil-water Separation
  • Nanofluid activated by Electromagnetic Waves using in EOR
  • Modeling and simulation of Reservoir and EOR.
  • Carbon capture
