Special Session 11
MICROSCOPY, MICROANALYSIS AND THEIR APPLICATION ON MATERIALS (SS11)
The technology of microstructural analysis has advanced so fast that it is hard to catch up. At the same time, the analysis technology has become a key aspect of investigation/development of advanced and/or functional materials. In this special session, advances in microscopy and microanalysis, application of the new techniques, technology of microstructural modification, the effect of microstructural modification on materials properties as well as in situ approaches will be dealt with. The papers submitted by the participants (oral/poster) will be reviewed and published in a relevant journal.
